StudioSynq (“StudioSynq,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and the customer data entrusted to the platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how StudioSynq collects, uses, stores, processes, and protects information in connection with the StudioSynq platform and services. By using StudioSynq, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
StudioSynq is intended exclusively for use by businesses and individuals located within the United States. By creating an account or using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are located in and operating a business within the United States.
StudioSynq does not knowingly accept registrations from, process data from, or provide services to individuals or businesses located outside of the United States. If StudioSynq determines that a user is located outside the United States, it reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate that account without refund.
As a U.S.-only platform, StudioSynq is not currently subject to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the United Kingdom GDPR. However, StudioSynq is committed to responsible data practices consistent with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable.

StudioSynq collects only the information necessary to operate and improve the platform.
Full name, business email address, phone number, and business name and type.
Through integrations (including Vagaro) or manual uploads, StudioSynq may process the following data on behalf of the business: customer names, phone numbers and email addresses, appointment and service history, no-show rates and visit frequency, revenue and spending patterns, appointment sources (e.g., Google, website, referrals), and other booking and performance-related data available through connected integrations.
Dashboard interactions and feature usage, system activity logs, and session timing and navigation patterns.
When users visit the StudioSynq website, we may automatically collect IP address, browser type and device information, and pages visited and session activity. This data may be collected using cookies or similar tracking technologies. See Section 14 for more on cookies and how to manage them.
StudioSynq does not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account information, or any other financial account credentials.
StudioSynq processes personal data only for the following business purposes, consistent with applicable U.S. privacy law:
Processing necessary to operate dashboards, generate insights, and provide consulting support as part of your subscription.
Processing necessary to protect the integrity of the platform, detect abuse, and safeguard user accounts.
Processing required to comply with applicable federal or state law, respond to lawful legal requests, or enforce StudioSynq’s rights.
Processing your contact information to send account, billing, and product communications. Promotional communications require your consent and are subject to opt-out at any time.
StudioSynq does not process data for any purpose beyond what is described in this Privacy Policy.
StudioSynq uses data strictly to operate, improve, and support the platform.
Display dashboards and organize business data, segment and filter customer data for reporting, and generate performance reports and insights.
Calculate retention rates and churn risk, analyze customer behavior and visit patterns, and track revenue trends and service performance.
Improve analytics models and accuracy, enhance system performance and reliability, and develop and test new platform features.
StudioSynq may contact users via email for onboarding and account setup, billing and account notifications, product updates and service announcements, and promotional communications (opt-out available at any time).
Users may opt out of promotional communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting support@studiosynq.com. Transactional and account-related communications are not subject to opt-out while your account remains active.
StudioSynq is built on trust with the businesses it serves. We expressly commit that StudioSynq will never:
Your client data is your client data. StudioSynq has no right to use it for any purpose other than serving you.
All customer data submitted to or processed through StudioSynq remains the exclusive property of the business using the platform. StudioSynq processes and analyzes this data solely to deliver the services described in these Terms.
StudioSynq retains ownership of its own intellectual property, including:
Aggregated and anonymized insights derived from platform data do not constitute user or customer data and remain the property of StudioSynq.
StudioSynq may connect with third-party platforms such as Vagaro to retrieve business and appointment data on your behalf. StudioSynq is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Vagaro or any other third-party provider.
StudioSynq is not responsible for:
By connecting a third-party integration, you represent that you have the legal authority to authorize StudioSynq to access data from that platform on your behalf and that doing so complies with that platform’s terms of service.
StudioSynq may engage third-party service providers to assist in operating the platform. These providers process data solely on StudioSynq’s behalf and are contractually required to handle data in accordance with appropriate security and confidentiality standards. StudioSynq does not authorize any service provider to use your data for their own independent purposes. A current list of key service providers is available upon request by contacting support@studiosynq.com.
StudioSynq implements administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Security measures include:
No system can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal or business data, StudioSynq will notify affected users within 72 hours of confirmed discovery, or as required by applicable state law, whichever is sooner.
StudioSynq retains data only as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfill legal obligations.
Upon account cancellation or termination:
Data may be retained beyond these windows only for compliance with applicable federal or state legal obligations, active fraud prevention or security investigations, or resolution of open disputes or pending legal claims.
To submit a data deletion request, contact support@studiosynq.com with your account information. Deletion requests will be confirmed in writing within 30 days.
StudioSynq may use fully anonymized and aggregated data derived from platform activity to improve the platform, develop analytics models, and generate industry-level benchmarks and insights.

This use of anonymized data does not constitute a sale or sharing of personal data and is not subject to opt-out under applicable law. StudioSynq may retain non-identifiable, aggregated, and derived analytics indefinitely, including after account deletion.
As a StudioSynq user, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, submit a written request to support@studiosynq.com with your full name, business name, and account email. StudioSynq will acknowledge all requests within 5 business days and fulfill them within 30 calendar days. StudioSynq will not discriminate against any user for exercising their privacy rights.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information.
StudioSynq does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. You have the right to:

StudioSynq is a business-to-business platform intended exclusively for use by adults operating licensed or registered businesses. StudioSynq is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.
StudioSynq does not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under the age of 13. If StudioSynq becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, it will take immediate steps to delete that information.
StudioSynq may disclose personal information to third parties when required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

If you wish to formally confirm your opt-out rights or submit a “Do Not Sell” request under applicable law, you may do so by contacting support@studiosynq.com. No personal information will be sold or shared in response to or independent of such a request.
StudioSynq may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in platform functionality, legal requirements, or data practices.
For material changes, StudioSynq will notify users via email and/or an in-platform notice at least 7 days before the updated policy takes effect. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision.
Continued use of the platform after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you must discontinue use and cancel your account before the effective date.
